Remind Congress That They Work for You:
GradeGov.com Lets You Send Them a Grade
Ocala, FL.
If you feel that Members of Congress are more interested in advancing their own
careers than helping the American people, you are not alone. 72% of American
voters agree. A new
non-partisan
website, GradeGov.com, gives the public a sharp way to remind politicians that
they work for the American people—not for themselves.
GradeGov.com lets the public send individual Members of Congress a grade—an A,
B, C, D, or F—and post it online. Visitors can also write letters and share
them on the GradeGov website. GradeGov.com displays each Congress Member’s
average grade—overall, by political party, and by State and congressional
district.
GradeGov.com is designed by a former Officer of the U.S. Senate to make the
public’s voice loud and clear. “There is no confusing an ‘A’ or an ‘F,’”
explains GradeGov’s founder, Elizabeth Letchworth. “From twenty-six years’
experience working for the U.S. Senate, I know that too often, the voice of
average Americans does not break through the D.C. bubble. It hasn't always been
this way. GradeGov is designed to set things right again, and let the American
people be heard..”
